Is this too good to be true?

My first job as a designer was for an American branch of a small French startup.

I worked there for about 2 years, over 15 years ago.

Recently, I found out that the company finally got acquired, and they're having a closing party in Paris.

They invited all current and former employees, and they're paying for travel to and from Paris.

Should I go?
